Stourhead Audio Tour (2022)
The story of England's finest landscape garden comes to life through a melodious sound experience as rich as the site itself. A truly collaborative project in conjunction with The National Trust; the script was written by Resonix based on actual archival materials collected from the estate to ensure its authenticity then recorded by the voice talent. Kate Novak provides a soft, welcoming narration whilst Timothy Bentinck MBE (BBC's 'The Archers') lends a commanding and emotive quality to his dramatic recitations of Henry The Magnificent, the visionary creator of Stourhead. Accentuated by an exciting sound design, some of which was recorded on-site and an original timeless musical score ensure the majesty of this pastoral wonderland can be enjoyed by everyone- even if they are listening from home.
Bowlore at Glastonbury Abbey (2022)
The fabled resting place of England's most epic legend provides the perfect backdrop for scenes of skill, strength and agility. Bowlore aim to give visitors an authentic look into medieval weaponary and combat and in 2022 Resonix Creative were on hand to add an extra immersive dimension to their show with an arsenal of music and sound. Three audio zones that matched the tone of each area - ranging from a weapons tent to an archery field - acted to envelope visitors into a world of swordplay and daring acts.
Corfe Castle as a Home (2021)
An incredible striking focal point of the Purbeck landscape. Resonix were called upon to tell the story of this imposing landmark and the people who called it home through the ages. We penned the initial draft, then set about considering the ways in which the script could be transformed into a three-point trail utilising existing assets at the castle in a cost effective but captivating experience. Local radio personalites Ross Owen Williams and Victoria Welton provided engaging and colourful vocal performances, with Resonix filling in the rest with authentic sound, music and vocals, working closely with Corfe Castle to achieve a true sense of place and convey the importance of the site as a home.
Evil Inhabitants at Corfe Castle (2020)
Amidst a number of restrictive mandates in autumn of 2020 when limited contact was key, Resonix thought outside the box to deliver a decidely 'hands-off' media based experience. Drawing from more sinister elements of local history, two sound pools were created for Corfe Castle focussed on the bleaker and more unnerving parts of Corfe Castle's history. Close your eyes, and you could be transported to a seemingly bottomless dungeon, or in the middle of a bloody struggle to capture the castle.
